London, £30,000 – £35,000
A long-standing client of ours based outside of London in the Surrey area is currently looking for an exceptional PR Account Manager (or Senior Account Executive) to join their successful B2B technology PR agency. The agency in question are international, with offices in the USA and elsewhere in New York. They have also won a number of awards and have been sitting comfortably in PR Week’s Top 150 for as long as I’ve known them!
They are on the hunt for an ambitious PR Account Manager to work on a range of B2B technology accounts, predominantly across cyber security & enterprise technology. The role would be ideal for anyone looking to lessen their commute (or at least not get on the tube everyday!), but continue to work in an agency that packs a punch and competes with the London based agencies. Due to the fact that they have international offices, there is plenty of opportunity to travel, as well as working on multi regional projects. The role is also not purely limited to PR but includes analyst relations, social media and even some influencer marketing.
The agency is incredibly ambitious and as such, this role isn’t for anybody who is looking to rest on their laurels, but rather somebody looking for an environment in which to challenge themselves and contribute to the growth of the agency. The team are friendly and supportive and the founder is still very much involved in the day-to-day and is always eager to hear new ideas from any member of staff at any level.
The successful PR Account Manager will have solid general PR experience including excellent account management & media relations skills. Alongside these essentials they should have a strong new business acumen and a knack for staff management, helping the more junior members learn, develop and make their way up the ladder. There are excellent progression prospects and by no means is there a ceiling – your progression is up to you and your performance.
As their clients are specialised, the PR Account Manager will need to have good knowledge of the B2B technology industry. Not necessarily understanding the ins-and-outs of the technology, but an ability to grasp the basics quickly and communicate them to the necessary parties is imperative.
Benefits are generous for an agency outside of London and include early finish Fridays, your birthday day off and plenty of opportunities to socialise with the team.
