A well-established and well-respected communications agency based in the city is currently looking for a skilled PR Client Manager with excellent financial communications experience to join their thriving team and work on a range of clients. Well known in the industry for handling the communications around complex financial work for both listed and non-listed businesses, some of their clients have been with them for over 20 years.
Their client base spans everything from fashion, food & drink, mining & natural resources, financial services, technology and retail and whilst they are best known for their financial comms work, they are frequently undertaking more and more corporate comms projects.
The agency in question are mid-sized with around 45 people in the team in London. They also have several international hubs in EMEA and Asia and work with a variety of clients in emerging markets. While the focus for this role is for somebody with a solid knowledge of capital markets and financial communications, there will also the be the opportunity to get involved in wider corporate comms work.
The successful PR Client Manager will have around 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role, preferably agency-side, but they will consider in-house experience if it is financial communications focused. This is a management role, so some experience of managing a team’s workload and ensuring the development of junior members of staff would be beneficial. It goes without saying that an excellent understanding of capital markets and the financial world is a must.
