Our client, a longstanding and well-established PR agency, set up by an ex-journalist & newspaper editor is looking for a fantastic Senior Account Manager to join their small team and become an integral part of the agency.
Based in central London in beautiful offices (really – they’re impressive!), the agency are not sector specific and work with a huge range of clients in industries including the arts, charity, start-ups, high profile individuals and more. They are not your typical agency and as such are looking for a candidate who is able to be flexible, loves their job and is happy working in part of a flat, collegiate structure.
The agency were established in the late 90s and have been going strong ever since. Their approach to PR is tailored to each client, incredibly personalised and each client has a ‘go to’ account manager (or director), meaning their level of service is incredibly high. They are a small team, but they work hard and achieve excellent and exciting results. There is also the opportunity for travel as a few of their clients are based outside of the UK.
A lot of the work they undertake for their varied client portfolio is media focused, so a candidate with excellent and varied media contacts (particularly in the nationals) is a must. The successful Senior PR Account Manager will also take the lead in terms of managing their client base and also supporting the junior members of the team. They are looking for somebody who has strong leadership skills and loves the process of nurturing and helping their colleagues to develop professionally.
As well as considering a Senior PR Account Manager, the agency will also consider an PR Account Director or somebody looking to take the step up to this level. Ideally, they’d like somebody to join with varied client experience across both consumer & corporate PR. The culture is somewhat corporate, but by no means stuffy and the team are very close and socialise regularly.
