A fantastic opportunity has just arisen for an exceptional and strategically minded Senior PR Consultant with excellent consumer campaigning experience to join a global advisory firm. The agency in question have over 300 employees worldwide and a variety of teams, covering Financial Comms, Political Comms, Content & Insights, Strategy and for this particular role Campaigning.
The overarching connection between all of the teams is the holistic and strategic approach they take to all their work. The agency are hired as consultants for some of the largest businesses in the world across a vast array of sectors and as such, take a bigger picture view of any PR & communications work that they undertake for their clients. Questions around how the brand are perceived, how to change or maintain those perceptions and managing reputations are top of the list.
They are looking for a talented Senior PR Consultant with consumer campaigning experience, think big, creative campaigns outside of the standard product or service launch campaign. The successful candidate will need to understand how the campaigns they activate affect the wider business and the reputation of the company as a whole. The campaigns are often longer-term and large scale, designed to make people pause and think about the organisation.
The agency are integrated, so all aspects of digital, corporate & consumer PR and comms will be at play in the role and would suit somebody with broad ranging consumer experience. This isn’t a traditional PR role and press office is becoming less and less a part of what they do.
With around 100 people in the campaigning team, they are a well-resourced bunch, with loads of ideas flying around and people from all walks of life and experience levels. The Senior PR Consultant is the equivalent of an Account PR Director or Senior PR Account Director, so new business, team management and excellent client management are all pivotal to the role.
